Query : 2 years back I had a lot of credit card and I used them and got trouble. somehow I paid the outstanding, but still not sure if I am in a centralized defaulter list.

Am sorry there is no way as such to find out if your name is in the CIBIL list. Unless if you apply for a loan and then it gets rejected only then will you come to know.

If I assume I am a defaulter then is there any way to sort this matter out? just for 10-20 K I dont want to be in the defaulter list. Is there any such provision to get my creditability back in the good form ?

Only once you regulate your payments your name gets wiped out from the CIBIL report.

Oh Thanks a lot sir.
It means I should contact the corresponding bank and clear out any outstanding and then my name will be wiped out from the CIBIL report . Actually when 4 years back when I was 22 I took lots of credit card and got into trouble but then after a year I tried to clear all the outstanding but not sure if I missed any bank.
