Query : I have a huge amount due on credit cards. This has accumalated over the last 5 years. I am planning to take a personal loan just to clear off this due as the interest rate is very low in personal loan then on credit card dues. Please suggest if this is a wise thing to do. If not please suggest an alternative.

You can apply for a personal loan & use it to clear the dues on your credit card.Also while taking the loan make sure the interest rate is not more than 36%.Since on the card the banks typically charge you an interest rate of 36%

Query : I hold a credit card I had taken up a loan for 10, 000 a year ago and the interest I am paying is tooooo high. i really can't afford paying this as I pay 4000.00 every month as my minimum amount due.
the debt on my card has risen upto 45,000.00.
